Kingston Whig Standard Campaign

Our children and youth, they are our future. They are our community. Often it's that extra support that helps them to flourish with confidence opening their hearts and minds to the possibilities in life. The Boys and Girls Club provides the kind of environment, support and programs that are known to increase students’ engagement in learning and lead to life-long positive outcomes.

The Boys and Girls Club After-School Programs offer children and youth a constructive, supportive and safe way to spend their free time. Quality programs during critical hours are uniquely positioned to increase children’s physical activity and tackle rising childhood obesity rates. Such programs also break the isolation associated with poor mental health outcomes while also supporting school success and skills development.

Today, we are pleased to announce the 17th Annual The Kingston Whig-Standard Spring Campaign to help local children and youth. As co-chairs we invite you to support the great work of the Boys and Girls Club here in our community. We are excited to announce that our 2017 campaign goal is to reach $100,000.00.

The Boys and Girls Club is a place where all children are given the same opportunities to develop, regardless of their economic or social differences. The children that attend the club range from ages 4- 18, servicing over 4700 children in Kingston and Area. The Boys and Girls teams located at the West End, Robert Meek, North End Hub and in Gananoque all have similar programming for middle years and youth. Each are continually creating educational, physical and growth plans and programming. Please support this worthwhile organization, and you may designate your donation to one or more of the tremendous programs the club offers.

Yours sincerely,
