COVID-19 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: WILL YOU BE OFFERING ANY ONLINE TUTORING PROGRAMS OR READING CLINIC SESSIONS?

A: The Club is currently exploring the possibility to offer online/virtual Reading Clinic sessions and programs. If we are able to offer this service to families, we will reach out via email and social media to provide more details.

Q: WHICH SANITARY AND CLEANING MEASURES WILL YOU PUT IN PLACE?

A: We are preparing to welcome our members into safe and clean spaces. We will always abide by our local Public Health guidelines. We have increased our cleaning and disinfecting capacity. We are also installing clear and guiding signage on required hygiene practices and will train all staff on the new procedures. We are ready to quickly adapt our operations with basis on new and changing Public Health directives.

Q: WILL YOU BE SCREENING THE CHILDREN AND STAFF FOR COVID-19? 

A: We will follow our local Public Health Unit for direction and policies regarding required screening measures for our on-site programs.

Q: I HAVE PAID FOR SERVICES THAT HAVE NOT BEEN OFFERED DUE TO THE CLOSURES. WILL I GET A REFUND?

A: We are currently crediting all household accounts for any programs/services that were not delivered/offered due to the closures. These credits do not expire, and can be used towards any Boys and Girls Club program or camp, Birthday Party, or Reading Clinic session fees.
Alternatively, we are very thankful to the families who have generously decided to donate their prepaid services and receive a donation tax receipt.

A: Stay tuned to our website and constantly check our social media! We thank you for being as eager as we are to get back to on-site programs and for your understanding as we patiently wait for authorities’ opening directives and guidelines.
